Ibis HD6 Description
We are really excited about riding the Ibis HD6 on our local slickrock mesas – especially the gnarlier stuff like the Grafton DH and even Flying Monkey. Designed for bike parks and World Cup enduro courses, the Ibis HD6 is a proper big-mountain enduro bike. 165mm of coil-compatible DW Link suspension in the back paired with a stout 180mm Fox 38 fork provide control in the roughest terrain – something we have plenty of in Southern Utah. Long, slack geometry and a mixed-wheel setup (27.5 rear/29 front) make it playful without sacrificing race-pace stability. If you like the looks of the HD6 but want to compare it to some other bikes, take a look at the Rocky Mountain Altitude, the SCOR 4060 LT and the Pivot Firebird. If the HD6 sounds good but you really don’t need that much bike, consider the Ibis Ripmo, Esker Rowl or Pivot Switchblade, instead.
