A family run business built on trust, passion, and a love for cycling and food . Our passion is for pleasing our customers, by identifying innovative ideas, working with relevant industry organisations, and maintaining our focus on the customer experience for the adventure tourism market.
Over the Edge Melrose is located in the township of Melrose, a community steeped in heritage and history. Melrose is a destination location in the Southern Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. A country community of approximately 200 residents within the township. We are one of a very select few destination bike stores, located in the main street of Melrose that allows customers to ride their bikes from the front door onto the trails.
A unique combination of a bike shop with a café. We have created a look and feel that makes everyone feel welcome when they enter, creating a warm friendly environment with our core business featuring an extensive range of current trends in mountain bikes and accessories, custom merchandise or gifts that can be taken home as a momento from their visit to Melrose with designs that cannot be found anywhere else in Australia.
With a strong bike brand foundation as the core of our business we stock and sell the latest bike brands and designs, meeting the needs of skilled and amateur mountain bike riders. No less important is the recreational cyclist market, catering to individuals and families with products to fit their lifestyle
With our primary focus equipping cyclists with ready to ride products to tackle the local mountain and bike tracks around Melrose that are located on private property and National Parks.
Our bike hire fleet gives customers a variety of options to select the style of bikes they would like to try, tailored to meet the needs of the customer by matching the bikes to the experience they are seeking. From families with kids who only want to ride around and around on the pump track, to beginner to advanced riders, grey nomads who want to ride an electric bike on the rail trail – we cater for all abilities and riders, who ultimately all have 2 things in common – to be outdoors and enjoy good coffee – And we are there for them!
