Ibis Ripmo V2 Description
Since it was first launched in 2018, the Ibis Ripmo has been one of our most popular bikes. It might be our most popular bike, ever. Plenty of travel, DW Link pedaling, new school geometry and 29er wheels made it perfect for Hurricane’s technical mesa trails. There’s almost nothing the Ripmo can’t do. The Ibis Ripmo V2, with more travel, updated suspension and even longer, slacker geometry is, to state the obvious, even better. The 64.9° head angle, 147mm rear-wheel travel and Ibis’ custom Traction Tune suspension make the Ripmo V2 a legit enduro contender. The original Ripmo was a super capable all-mountain bike but the V2 is even more confident on the descents. It’s still a great-pedaling bike but the Ibis Ripmo V2 is happiest with the throttle wide open on local shuttle trails like Grafton Mesa and Flying Monkey.
