There is a new Family Rail trail from Melrose to Wilmington 23 km one way. A lovely flat and easy ride for those that want to take in the scenery of our beautiful countryside and Mt Remarkable.
The Southern Flinders Rough Riders volunteers ( our local mtb club ) will be meeting up next year to start planning our new Super D at Bartagunyah. It will be ready for the 2012 Fat Tyre Festival. How awesome- to finish the day of riding at Bartagunayh for some wine tasting of the local plonk.
The kids ( young and old ) have been loving our new and improved pump track in melrose. Time trials have been fairly comeptitive with the local boys – with the best time noted on the whiteboard at OTE so other riders know what time to beat!
