Giggling!

It’s always fun riding with Robbie and Paul and Timoni. Yesterday was no exception if not the pinnacol of that statement. We rolled along the Fruita desert at a steady but never hurried pace and jumped off of every rock we could imagine (as long as they werent OFF TRAIL – we certainly are sworn to keeping beautiful singletrack beautifully SINGLE). THe sun was warm and we were all well aware that this wont last all winter long. But as we twisted and turned through the sandstone and the junpier of the Colorado Plateau in the shadow of the Bookcliffs towering overhead. We knew this was a perfect day to be on the bike in Fruita. As usual Robbie and I like to roll together. He can usually set a faster pace than me but what I love is that he chooses not to. He would rather roll along in fighter pilot formation (of course single file… as mentioned, thats what defines Singletrack and we would have to be retarded to want to make that into two track) and we tend to roll along farily quickly. As we dropped down the perfect long sloping descent of Vegaetarian I knew why we refer to ”giggles” in this ride. I was giggleing to myself, OK maybe out loud, but how could you not. It was the perfect day with the prefect folks and we all felt lucky to be riding in the sun for one more Fruita day in 2008.

Thanks and lets do it again soon
