a perfect ending to a great beginning

San Pellegrino – Simrione – November 3rd 2008

I got my car out of the hotel garage; it was time to head back towards switzerland. No hurry but it was time. Don’t know quite what inspired me to look but they had dented my car when they kept moving it around. That sucked; argued… called Polizia… no help… sucked a bit.

Drove back to Simreone and spent the rest of the day in the SPA pools overlooking the sunset and moon rise on lago Garda in a 2000 year old town perched in the lake via a jetty. Very cool place, a must see. I met cool people and had a great time, got ripped off by the bar on the way out: 30 euro’s for wine and grappa and some cheese, but don’t hardy care too much. It was my day to balance my great successes with a little challenge as well. But I think I’m still way ahead in the game… (don’t tell).

I drove back to San Pellergino and walked into an empty hotel, looked closed, door unlocked, grabbed a key and spent the night. I paid this morning of course and am now I am typing from the lobby as I watch the rain fall outside… again… pouring!

I think I’ll go drink some mineral water and enjoy my rest day. Ciao Regazzo
