Staff trip 2009 – Hurricane Utah

Posted on

So; after 11 days on the road we find ourselves in Hurricane Utah in a nice rental house that was provided for us (Thanks – this house is available to rent for groups and its cool). We left Las Vegas this morning and said goodbyes to our friend Jason Grove, El Camino Fab, after a great breakfast at the Peppermill. Our last ride all toghter was at Red Rocks west of Vegas near Blue Diamond. Awesome rides for a week and a half and more than that a bunch of great time with great people. Thanks to all who shared in our aventure this year.

The entire OTE USA Staff – Timoni, Noah, Max, Robbie, Dave, Quentin, DJ, Clayton, Troy

Paul Aieta-MRP, Paul-makes a yummy snack- Frinak, Gordon Reinert, Bryce Pratt, Meagan Polino Flag, Anne Spalding GJ, Stacey Laplante Angry One clothing, Steevy-Broakland, Nod sedona, Joe Murray – Voodoo, Chewey and all the guys at Bike & Bean, Mountain Bike Bill – ”Over the Edge-litterally”

Our Days in Phoenix were a flurry of riding and eating magical food and staying our a bit late most nights. We rode the national and Mormon on the first day and then went out west to Usery and Hawes where Pass Mountain is one of the nicest rides in the PHX area. We returned to ride Geronimo and West Morman on Saturday morning before we drove towards Vegas.

While in Phoenix we ate ate great places like Cowboy Ciao and our favorite Bario Cafe at 16th & Thomas. We of course visited Oregano’s cuz its AZ and Pizza Picazzo in Sedona. Beyond that it was just a whole bunch of beer

With as many as 18 people at times and a whole bunch of logistics and organizing rides; we did quite good and kept away from stress with great effectiveness.  We didnt have the same success dodging crazyness, hangovers and generally unacceotable oublic behaviour but we did have a heck of alot of fun everywhere we went. Overall a huge success.

We will be riding here in Hurricane until Wednesday and heading home from here. Looks like soring should be coming soon… I sure hope!
