Why We Love The Ibis Ripley AF V2
She’s metal, she’s a beauty and she rips! The aluminum Ibis Ripley AF V2 mountain bike is a more rugged and affordable version of the carbon Ibis Ripley, one of the most popular trail bikes to ever hit the dirt. The Ripley AF V2 has the exact same suspension and geometry as the carbon Ripley V5 but with an aluminum alloy frame that saves you well over $1000. It has 130mm of rear wheel suspension, a 140mm fork in the front and slack, downcountry geometry. Thanks to the DW-Link suspension, it floats uphill and feels smooth and confident on the descents. The DW-Link suspension combined with the carefully-refined, downcountry geometry makes it a super fun, intuitive trail bike that rides well above its class.
