BIG NEWS FOR HURRICANE

Posted on

Hello,

We are excited to annouce some great news for Hurricane Over The Edge, after 7 years we are expanding! Construction is currently underway and the finished product will increase shop and mechanic space. Now Clayton won’t be forced out on the back porch, although some days the best place to work is the back porch. Also there will be A/C and Central Heating. Some of you have experienced the shop in the middle of summer, the desert can get hot!

We also have the 5th Annual Hurricane Mountain Bike Festival the end of March, 27-29th, 2015. This has been a great family event. Perfect spring weather full of good food and friends. If you have not signed up follow the link and get your plans fixed to come out.  http://hurricanemtbfestival.athlete360.com/

There will be rides for all types everyday, if you are feeling fit and strong, tired and hungover, or somehwhere in between there will be a group for you to join. Friday night is a Dutch Oven dinner and Saturday night is a live band. There is lots of swag and opportunities to make new friends. Come see what all the buzz is about in Hurricane. We have several miles of new trail and several miles more planned to be built.

Finally Quentin and DJ in conjunction with Hurricane City and the Water Conservancy District have completed the build of the Boy Scout Trails over looking Quail Reservoir. They brought in an Ameri-Corps crew to do the build. The crew worked hard moving rocks, huge rocks, and laying down some very unique trail that offers rewarding views while keeping you engaged the entire time. All of the riders that have spent time on these trails have raved of their goodness. This trail system is easy to get to and will be good to ride when things get a little wet.

Come out and celebrate all of these amazing changes! We love seeing our friends!
