Looking to find the best Trail Info? We understand that your time is important and we want to help make the best of it. Although there is a smattering of ride info all over the web, its still hard to beat talking to someone in person. Call us old fashioned, but we prefer to sit down with the map and highlight routes and draw little arrows for each customer. So come on over to the Shop!

The OTE Sedona Experience Map

- We created this map to show as many trails as possible, including the 'non system' trails in order to help riders from getting lost. We print these on standard paper to make it easier to highlight, to keeps costs low, and format it to be easy to use while riding. We also donate sales from this map to the Red Rock Ranger District, so feel good knowing that this map helps support the trails! $5.95

Beartooth Publishing Sedona Topo Map

- High quality topo map, full color, fancy tear proof and water resistant paper, this would be the other "go-to" Sedona map. Beartooth made some major updates this year to include most of the epic trails that were not listed before, so we feel confident in offering this map. $11.95

Want to see the trails throughout the Sedona and Verdey Valley flourish? Donate!! The trails will always need love. Year round the trails are being used, weathered by monsoons or spring runoff, and generally eroding. Many areas around the valley are also in need of new trails and creating trails takes time and money. Funds donated will go to maintenance, new construction, planning and signage.

Even if you don't live here, you can still help support our trails. We support the Verde Valley Cyclist Coaltion (VVCC) - the main guiding force in organizing trail work days and representing Mountain Bikers to the Forest Service. The VVCC is also an affiliate club of IMBA.

We consider this an absolute must-do when visiting Sedona, these trails are located in the Boynton Pass area that is just west of our shop. Big red rock landscapes, stunning views, and 100% singletrack to boot. Mescal Trail is the highlight in this loop; with slick rock sections, exposure, flow, and a few technical spots. Aerie and Cockscomb can be done separately for a shorter and easier route, with enough flow to be a blast for any level of rider.

The “must-do” trail of Sedona for advanced riders, this might just be the 'whole enchilada' of Sedona. A true thriller featuring jaw dropping views, puckering exposure, steep-technical-get-your-ass-behind-the-saddle drops, scaling steep slickrock climbs, all along massive bands of red rock...... and finishing with a high speed grin inducing singletrack through cottonwood trees and Oak Creek.

As of Dec 8, 2012 - this trail has been officially adopted by the Forest Service into the Sedona trail system. This means this amazing trail can be proplery signed and maintained, which it has needed for a long time. Cheers to the Red Rock Forest Service for recognizing mountain bikes and epic trails!

The Hiline Trail is one of those "must do" rides for the advanced rider, and luckily its been adopted by the Forest Service - so its sure to stay for years to come. This trail really has it all: fast high speed sections, steep puckering chutes, steady climbs, views galore, banked red rock walls....... its definitely one of our favorites. Some sections are rated double black diamond, so definitely be cautious your first time around on this one! 

Our favorite way to ride Hiline is as a 20 mile loop from our store, which gives you some bonus technical descents on either Ridge Trail or Special Ed Trail while heading down to Oak Creek crossing, and then up Templeton and over to the start of Hiline.

Beautiful singletrack across the street from our shop. Simply ride down 89A to Adobe Jack Trailhead, then head north on Adobe Jack trail. Take this up to the Devil's Sinkhole, turn right and continue on Jordan trail. Connect to the Anthill Loop, circle around back to Jordan and continue to the Power Plunge trail. The Plunge is a fun technical downhill, take this back to Adobe Jack and either finish the ride or go back up for another variation. We recommend adding the Soldiers Pass singletrack as well

Chuck Wagon was adopted for mountain biking in the spring of 2012, and laid out in the standard of modern mountain bike trail building = flowy! This trail winds its way up and down through a variety of different landscapes, a true display of Sedona's diversity. Starts at the Vultee Arch dirt road entrance.... This trail is fun in both directions and could be ridden as an out n back, or can be linked to Mescal and Long Canyon to make a loop.

Broken Arrow is a true classic of Sedona, and highly recommended. Although the trail is singletrack, it crosses the super popular Jeep tour route quite a few times. Lots of slick rock, short technical climbs, and big views await. Submarine Rock is a fun place to session the red rock and Chicken Point serves up a stunning viewpoint. Swing by the shop to get the full scoop on loop options to make a killer ride.

Slim Shady is one of those trails you will want to do over and over again. The downhill section is fast and very flowy, following a wash full of slick rock, berms, and armored roll ins.

The Loop we like to do starts at the Little Horse Parking Lot. Start heading down Bell Rock Path, Left on Little Horse Trail, Right on Llama Trail, Right on Bail Trail, Left on Bell Rock Path, Right on Templeton, Left on Hermit Trail, Continue on Coconino Trail, Right on Slim Shady...... then get your shred on!

After Slim Shady, loop it again: Make a right on Templeton Trail, Right on Hermit Trail, Continue on Coconino Trail, Right on Slim Shady.

To Finish: Look for HT Trail and take take that to Bell Rock Path, make a left and cruise back to Little Hore Parking Lot.
